Your First
Visit
Here is "Cotton Candy" at her first visit with Dr. Bob getting her
heart checked.
The most important part of your pet's treatment is arriving at a diagnosis
(knowing as definitely as possible what the problem is). An integral part of the
process is your pet's history. At your first examination or visit you will be asked to supply your pet's
medical history, and any blood test results, x-rays or any other diagnostic
tests which have been previously done. We routinely have these items faxed
to make it easier for you.
After reviewing this history with you, a diagnosis is made. Sometimes
additional tests are needed. Sometimes an immediate referral to a
specialist is made.
It is especially important to follow through with this diagnostic process by
following precisely the medical protocol recommended for your pet. Your
compliance enhances the chances for success in eliminating illness and pain from
patients.
Our definition of the word "wholistic" medical care, is to work
first physiologically. We understand what normal physiology really is before
adding herbs, acupuncture, homeopathy and so on.
